Food: More pasta
As promised, here's a pic of my lunch today.
I can almost hear Fraud scream,"THAT IS SO NOT AUTHENTIC!"
There are japanese mushrooms in it lol
One of my friends had asked me how to cook pasta in cream sauce then I realised that I hadn't really done it before.
So tried out today and it tasted fine. I read up afew recipes and they basically use the same things for the base, just cream and stock/water+season to taste. So I just bought cream and cooked. Not sure of the amount, I just mixed what I think seemed fine. (I only really follow recipes when they are like cakes and might not rise well if I use my estimation alone)
I fried most of the salmon seperately in butter and toss them on after the pasta was done.
Another reason why its pasta again... Is cos... I still have fettucine unfinished D:
Perhaps the next food update would be seafood pasta in white wine base? (Though my sis hates clams and mussles so might not cook that =S)
Got to try to finish those pasta. XD
