I hardly ever do anything right. I rarely fulfill my promises. I promised to write every day, to let you know all the events of my crazy life here. But it proved to be much more difficult than I expected. The life is so full and interesting, that it`s hard to find time to write. So, I`m sorry for making you wait too long.
Tomorrow it will be two weeks in the USA. Now no one can tell me that i`m too excited and do not understand the reality. Too weeks is enough to be realistic. And I should tell you, this is the best time of my life. It is as if I was waiting all my life in the shadows to come here and be absolutely happy.
We have not found the jobs yet. Sometimes I feel desperate about it. But the hope dies the last. I`m not that optimistic already, but
i still believe we`ll be able to find something. Today was a big day. We went to the Social Security Office. They will give us our SSN in two days. That would definitely mean, that the situation with the jobs will become better! At least, I hope so...
Here every days is a holiday. We have already been in the Stone Mountain Park and climbed the mountain, we have visited the museum in Atlanta with lots of fascinating exhibitions, we`ve been at the lake and even at white water rafting. This was maybe the most difficult experience. We were rafting down the river for 4 hours in small canoes. Wonderful! I do like it! Once I fall into the water and my boat turned. I was frighted to death, but got only a couple of bruises and scratches) It was still awesome!
We`ve already met lots of interesting people. Not just interesting, I would rather say WONDERFUL. All people here are extremely polite, kind and friendly. They all are ready to help, to give advice and spend some time together. Nearly every day we have parties, either near the swimming pool or at the back yard. One can only dream about such gorgeous life I have right now. You know, both girls and boys in the USA are very beautiful. Really, they are. But obesity here is a great problem, this is true as well.
The main difference between the USA and Russia is the attitude to the nature. I have never ever seen a bottle, a cigarette or some dump in the streets, in the forest or in the rivers and lakes. In the city everyone through the rubbish in the trash bin. When people are relaxing in the countryside and there are no trash bins around, they collect everything in the special bags and carry home to through away later in the bin. It is really amazing. That is why their nature is unspoilt AT ALL!
