On checking my morning news sites I stopped by Wired mag and found this article about 4 undocumented Mexican immigrants in the US that have beaten some of the top schools and colleges in the country (including MIT with a budget over $10k) in a competition to build an underwater robot able to carry out a number of predefined tasks.
These are 4 very clever guys yet because they are undocumented, they are unable to gain any federal aid in order to attend college AND if they could gain financial assistance they would have to pay out of state tuition which can be three times more expensive than for a US student.
Their high school has setup a scholarship fund though it only details checks from the states, I wonder if they accept paypal or another form of international transfer?
