I've known for quite some time now that I want to grow old and wrinkly with the woman sitting next to me, chasing her with the aide of my walker, trying to pinch her bum.

So ... I asked her. On October 6th, 2008, I asked this woman to be my wife.
It was an ordinary night. We had just watched Portia and Ellen's wedding clips on YouTube ... and I asked.
She said yes. :D
Oh, how my heart soared to here that one word, that simple affirmation that she wanted to share her life with me as well!
We set the date for March 7th 2009, and we're planning like mad, trying to pull things together on a budget entirely funded by caring friends and family (yes, we're that broke). We're poor as church mice (poor-er sometimes!), but we're blissfully happy! We have each other, after all.
