psp emulation

So ive been reading about psp emulation of psx games, and to be honest im quite interested. I could justify the expense of buying a psp if i could play my old psx games on it. Anybody know how this works? Preferably without bricking or voiding warranties? (long shot i know)

this was all brought on by my browsing the net and running across LUNAR for the ds which brought back memories of LUNAR: Silver Star Story from back in the day *tear*
