How pathetic
Do you know how much it sucks living with your parents after you've already left home? I hate getting yelled at for stupid shit like "staying up too late" or "not doing anything around the house," I feel like I'm 12. Granted I stay up extremely late and I really do absolutely nothing (well, I do stuff they ask me to do, but they expect me to do more), but if I didn't live at home I wouldn't have this problem at all. I've never had a roommate get on my ass for staying up too late or not making my bed. So long as we keep the shared areas of the living quarters clean there isn't a problem. I need to move to New York City and live with a girl, because a slightly messy girl is about equivalent to a pristinely tidy guy. I'm not like metro-sexual grade clean, but I can put away my own dishes and not leave my stuff all over the living room. Well this guy called me about a job an hour ago, hopefully he'll be around later to talk to. The number was from Putnam/Dutchess county though (around where my grandparents live, 2 hours from NYC). It's not New York City, but it's on the train line and it's closer than the 6 hours or so I am away from it now. Hopefully it's something interesting, maybe they even have some openings in the city...gotta' make sure it isn't a shit job first.
