Never gets any easier
Damn, finding a job in New York City is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I've even been applying for shit jobs that pay $6 an hour and coming up with nothing. I'm happy to be here, but I would be so much happier if I had a job.
When I take the subway to the city I go through Brooklyn on the above ground tracks. There is so much graffiti it's amazing. There is graffiti in places that seem to be humanly impossible to get to. Hanging off the side of 15 story buildings. I just think to myself "Batman must have spray-painted that using his grappling hook." Crazy taggers. I wish I had a digital camera so I could show you guys some pictures, even though it's illegal to take pictures on the subway.
Manhattan is crazy, but it's an interesting place. You have to look at people like if they run into you you'll knock them over, otherwise they will knock you over.
I have an interview at KFC up the street in an hour. Damn, have I really gone down to this level? Working at KFC? Hopefully something better comes up this week or I'm going to smell like chicken everyday.
