Music and me
Last Saturday i was riding in friend's car and he had "Metallica" playing, not sure which album or song. I've heard their songs before and i think "Unforgiven" has stuck, but nothing else besides that song. This time i liked other songs as well, so i decided to give it another try and downloaded couple of albums, burned "Master of Puppets" to a CD and listened on a way to work today (didn't feel like riding anyway).
I can't say i liked it that much, although Amazon almost swears by that album, but one thing for sure, it made me weirdly angry. I was weaving from lane to lane on a freeway, speeding, cutting people off. As soon as i turned it off, my road race/rage kinda stopped. I mellowed out almost immediately.
Music always had a very strong effect on my mood and behavior. I probably shouldn't listen to "Metallica" in a car.
By the way, I prefer their slower tracks, so if somebody knows them well, what can you recommend in terms of another album of "Metallica", or maybe even different band. These styles of music are virtually unknown to me.
