Protests in Turkey
I don't know if I'm on any living soul's friend page but for what it's worth..
If you've heard anything about the ongoing protests in Turkey, I caution you to take the news with a grain of salt. Things aren't what CNN and the likes are making it sound like (they went so far as to use a photo of a pro-government rally of nearly one million people as though it's an anti-government protest). No "Turkish Spring", no government overthrown. The atmosphere is very strained but it's not like there's a revolution here.
If anything, it's shocking to realize this is the same media we've followed on events in the Middle East. God knows what the truth behind everything really was.
