Burfday For Bags!

Happy bday shoutout to baggsie . The day has been spent with the birthday boy and his tonsilitus, and even though we were promised indian food we didnt get any. A Greggs sarnie had to suffice. Ah well, it was a good excuse to do nothing but watch AD and drink tea. As well as open and fanatically consume a packet of Edinburgh rock. Even though its manky stuff.

Made a carrot cake - threw it together when hubby and bags were out getting the sarnies and pasties. I havent got the cream cheese to make the icing though. Will do that in the morning after a trip to the shops.

Just got off the phone to me Mam. One of her chooks is going broody. She has been sat on her eggs for four hours and plucking out her belly feathers. Me Mam didnt know what was happening, so I told ehr to get all the eggs out of there as soon as they are laid. The chook will probably have a go at her, but its got to be done.

Speaking of rowdy chooks. Miranda has been up to her loudmouth tricks again. I got shook awake this morning by a very irate hubby with a very sleepy Baboo on his arm and him saying, "Go and Kill Miranda..." She had been sat singing at the morning for twenty minutes. I know she is a big and butch hen, but she is now trying to be a cockeral. Oh dear.. If we hadnt named her he would have been in the pot long ago.

Baboo has had a bad couple of nights. Luckily it has come just after I have read up on growth spurts and how they effect the sleeping routine. Looks like that it what is going on. She has been doing really well getting a dream feed at 10:30 and not waking again until 5:30. This we can handle. The past couple of nights she has been up at 2am and not drifting off again until after 4. And afteer bunches of food. The bottle ounceage has been upped again, so she is on 8oz a feed, every three hours, or hungrier milk. I think she is going to have to go onto solids sooner than expected - she just isnt filling in on milk. We have to hold out for the next four weeks and then baby rice and porridges here we come!

I went mad finding free ringtones last night too. I found the AD theme tune for mine and Franklin Comes Alive for a text tone. I got the Chuck theme tune as a suprise for hubby. I could get The Final Countdown as a freebie, even though it would have been funny.

I have started Christmas shopping too. Well eBay Christmas bookmarking. Its all good.

Dinnertime!
