So, I got "lucky", and the Toon/Hull match was the early game on Fox Soccer. If Ashley's serious about selling, then the sale better happen quick -- until the ownership gets settled, I doubt any coach worth having will want to inhabit that seat. That match was wretched, and the only real question was how many goals Hull would beat us by.
I guess it's pretty much a given that Owen's gone in January; only question is who else is going to go with him....
Well, the current rumour is that this billionaire guy is the sixth wealthiest person in the world, and if he takes the reigns then Keegan will be back.
And Keegan wanted to keep a tight hold on Owen..
And "lucky" isnt the word for having to sit through that bilge!
Ask your hubby about the Mike Lansing/Dante Bichette years on the Sox -- I'm kinda used to these displays, actually....
Still, I see on ESPN's soccernet site, the club is now saying that Shearer's contract as "club ambassador" actually ended last year, don't you know, but this observation has nothing to do with his criticisms of Keegan's firing last week.....
Personally, I'd love to see one of my favorite players get a chance to manage the Magpies again -- Kenny Dalglish. But I'd take Keegan back too. I just hope things settle down at St. James' Park so they can play some proper football.
