first off, my horrid face thing^ healed perfectly! i was really scared it was gonna scar.
Mi madre almost adopted a dog... she was really sweet, a pitbull/husky mix, named Holly. We took her home for a test drive and my mom, who had been complaining about wanting a dog for months, freaked out and decided she couldn't handle any more responsibility... so, back to the foster home holly went. it was pretty sad, but i understand. i hope she finds a better home.
Allia and I have been experimenting with wheatpasting lately~ because it is hella fun, and marginally better for the environment than spraypaint. I've been doing ghosties! we have a couple way huge projects underway, too, gotta paint the town before I leave it...
couple weeks ago, allia came over and I realized we had raked, and therefore had no leaf piles to jump in. So, y'know, we did what any creative young folks would do and jumped on the bags~
My friend Tess has stayed over twice this week~ We make delicious vegan cookies, lay on a pile of pillows on the floor and watch cartoons. We also make huge mothatruckin 4ft tall stencils with the help of a projector, and draw fake tattoos on each other. observe:
the stencil is something Insane Clown Posse related. which is not my thing, but hilarious. and it turned out pretty awesome anyway... we put it up near an icp-loving friend's house as an xmas present.
we used to not get along very well(i am super posi and she is totally cynical) but something changed! and that makes me happy. so we've been hanging out as much as possible before i move.

YESSSS THAT IS RIGHT. I finally bought my ONE-WAY ticket to Portland, OR. I'll post my new address later, if anybody wants it... i'll be living in a sweeeet apartment in NE with three beautiful friends, and 3 blocks away from the Winch, the other NBTSCer house... with lovely friends there toooo, and all throughout the city, and vegan food and crafting and cute girls and bicycles and oh my god i am going to live in portland. hell yes. i have been planning and plotting and giving away and packing up everything i own... and it will come to fruition on the 26th! woo, life-changing cross-country flight on the day after Christmas? sign me up.
I've been smelling something really weird and unpleasant all day and I can't tell what it is or where it is coming from. it is getting dark at 4pm! wtf missouri!
did i ever tell you that i sleep in a nest? i'll miss it.
