Loved Derailed

Derailed really caught me by surprise. Here's a movie that slipped under the radar and had a little bit of everything I like and hate at the same time. I say hate, because I get wrapped up in what happens during movies. I actually start to really care about characters and hope things work out for the best. Well in this, things just seem to go downhill at a very steep angle. The main character is a guy that's much like myself. Even the negatives seem to match me well so my taking sympathy for his "impuned" adventure was likely from the get go. This movie had suspense and really makes the audience angry.....maybe just me. If you haven't seen this movie and are reading this with nothing to do I would suggest doing so. It was good stuff. Frankly, I never thought I'd see Jennifer Anniston play a role like this. It's just very different but really refreshing at the same time. Clive Owen (sp) was spot on with his acting and the supporting cast was very well done. Rappers turned actors don't normally cut it in my oppinion but this movie came off quite nicely. I like the message this movie delivered and the irony is that it didnt come off cliche which was really surprising.

Anyways, rented Pride & Prejudice and I'm not embarassed to say so. It's a love story and I'm a hopeless romantic. Can't wait to watch one of my favorite books in action.
