Yesterday a bunch of us met up for a photo shoot at the back of Wayne's Workshop in Ferntree Gully. I took a lot of clothes, make up etc and Izaak took most of the photos, although I got quite a few too.
The junkyard had a bunch of great stuff - a gutted caravan, rusty cars, a quad bike and great props just lying around - tyre irons, an axe etc.
I wish I'd put more thought into the scenes and costumes. Still, it worked out pretty well and gave me lots of ideas for next time.
I think this would be an amazing setting for wedding photos - or even post-wedding photos using the dress and suits, if they could be dirtied and ripped.
The guns were all nerf guns that Sledge painted. I was very annoyed, when I got home, to discover that Sledge wasn't in many of my photos - I'd focussed most of my attention on the babies and my workmates who came along.
Good to be getting out and getting some creative photos - apart from the Gangster Ball, I' haven't done a lot of that this year. I was really happy with a lot from this set.
Next suggested theme is rock and pop star. Need to find a good venue with a stage!
