polar opposites
Well, the start of the new year has been interesting (to say the least!).
I will say this- I hate being jerked around. F*ktards know how to ruin a good time.
Anyways,
Flight in to Houston was late but relatively uneventful (save the fact we had a dead body in the cargo hold....). Flight to Baton Rouge was 2 hrs delayed, but Kevin was there with his sis and her roomies (whom I TOTALLY HEART!) They absolutely LOVED Oberon! He even has a new nickname- Angelina Jolie Lips. And Jesse had flown in not even 15 minutes before I did. We dropped Jesse off, and went back to Katie's place (kevin's sister) and had a little mini welcome back party. We ended up being so exhausted we just spent the night there (I was in bed by midnight or so).
Friday was Kelly's wedding- absolute blast! Loved it. Once again- dancing queen. ^_^.
Then, afterward, Kevin and I hosted the wedding after-party. So much fun! Had a ton of people from the wedding come.
Did breakfast/lunch out in New Orleans (well...some sort of suburb...), and that was cool "Dot's Diner." Delicious food! However, my tires decided to start losing air. Freaked me out last night. So, this morning I found a station that had a working air pump and had to refill 3 of the 4 tires! Crazy. Tommy's due for his check-up soon anyways. Gotta get that all straitened out.
Since I've been home- I unpacked and watched movies! YAY!
And Zach's definitely coming to visit! YAY! And, he's going to cook for us. MMMmmmmmmmmmmm!
