20 hour party of fabulousness

Oct 06, 2006 14:47

yeah,
you heard it. 20 hour long party. Wow.

....soooo tired.....

HAHAHAHA, so, here's how it started.

Tuesday afternoon I was hanging with my friend, Kevin, and he says, "So, we should have a few drinks after our cell final tomorrow to celebrate and then go to anatomy." We got a cooler, invited a few people and started the most fabulous party ever!

After anatomy we had a lunch party at chimes, very excellent! While one half of the table was getting all heavy into religion we decided to rate cutest, hottest and pretty girl and guy AND who would make the best drag king and queen of the class. Totally way better convo.

So, we were at chimes til about 4 pm and people learned of my magical sensual massage fingers (gifted by the all-mighty Priestess of the Crystal lotus!) (apparently us vet students are stressed). Then I was supposed to meet up with my friend Julia with whom i was co-hosting a fabulous dinner party (this, ladies and gentlemen is the start of the fabulousness). We were supposed to start the dinner at 7:30, and I wanted to start cooking by 6. Yeah. Didn't happen. So, traffic really sucks, and we didn't get back from grocery shopping until 7:15! Dood.

Now, Julia didn't know how to cook, so I was going to teach her. We made a biquebaique (think italian salsa), a fruit salad, regular salad, and then I taught her how to make garlic and rosemary chicken and zucchini with cous cous and pinolis. Mmmmmmmm.... I think it was a success! There was lots of fabulous wine and my friend Leia invented a drink called a Leiito (think mohito but apple).

So, dinner was glouriously fabulous. And about midnight or so we decided to head to a Third-year's party. Ton-o-fun! Then, oh...twoish in the morning or so we headed back to Julia's for the post fabulousness party in which the dinner party continued and even more people part-took of the gloriously fabulous food and drink Julia and I made.

Next thing we know it's 5 am. ACK! I've been giving massages for the past 5 hours and I was wiped out. Kevin's like, "We should watch a movie and pass out." Julia and I concurred. So, I take a bunch of people back home, head back to Julia's by like 6 am. By this point in time, it will be 30 minutes before I am awake for an entire day. We pop in the movie (Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves) and I was out just past 6:30. Boo-yah, baby.

And that's what happens when you give vet-students a day off. =D.

So, the next morning I find out my Cell final grade: I got an A on the visual! (YAY!) and B+ on the Written! (YAY!) I ended up with a B+ for the class. Totally roxors my soxors! I wish I got an A, but, what can you do?

Then we did Cranium party night at Jen's last night (once again, another late night). And Rob's coming to visit today! YAY! Driving all the way from Oklahoma State University.

Hope all is well for you all!

Kissles!
B
