The Week's Tally In Armed Intruders

It's been a busy week for the remoras in the Orlando sprawl. We've had five home invasions. In four of them, there was theft. In two of them, women were raped by pairs of assailants. In the fifth one, there was no rape, and there was no theft, because the homeowner shot one of her two intruders in the face, which persuaded them to seek their entertainments elsewhere. The wounded man was arrested at the hospital later.

It's always been true that once they're in the room with you, the police can't help. But your .45 can.
