Palin's Church

Sep 27, 2008 12:19

I really can not improve on the Huffington Post article linked below. It details the beliefs of the Wasilla Assembly of God Church, which Sarah Palin attended for more than twenty years. They are so without reason that they are considered a fringe group even by most evangelicals.

Let's consider that: Sarah Palin's church is considered extremist by *evangelical Christians*. This reminds me of the time I watched a documentary on Ozzy Osbourne, and the members of Motley Crue were interviewed about their time partying on the road with the Blizzard of Oz. Even ten years later, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx, and Vince Neil all spoke about it in bewildered whispers, with the faces of the permanently scarred. What in hell can you do on a bender to make the members of Motley Crue recoil?

I don't know how to answer to that question, but you can find out about the Wasilla Assembly of God in the article linked below.

Anyway, the point is this: are we going to give control of an atomic arsenal sufficient to exterminate all life in this solar system five times over to the daughter of an apocalyptic cult of witch hunters?

I say, no.
