two nights ago, i got a new cell phone, courtesy of Sprint. it's one of those seriously hooked up kinds, with internet connection and a digital camera.
hence, i have become addicted.
Amber's parents rolled into town tonight. we went out to dinner with them, and i gave them the Christmas present i compiled for them: a basket containing pirouette cookies, Milano cookies, Starbucks Italian Roast coffee (ground, no less), and fruit teas. how sweet and college-y. they, in turn, presented me with the Outlaw Bible of American Poetry, which contains works by everyone from Richard Brautigan to Penny Arcade to Che Guevara to Diane DiPrima. It wins a lot. how sweet and college-y, in a kickass bohemian sort of way.
my birthday is in less than a week. feel free to offer me tokens of appreciation.
Amber is sleeping behind me, and I MISS HER SO MUCH. hell, we made it through the summer. this won't even be a month. still, i love her a lot and it will take some adjusting to not having her by my side 80% of my lifetime.
time to go. countdown to going home: three days. countdown to name change: 25 days.
