i forgot to mention (though Amber didn't) that lst week I got her a baby Siberian dwarf hamster, whom we named Comet. Comet is finally big enough to sex--she's a grrrl. i like her immensely. she runs about in a little hamster ball so that she can get exercise, we can gush over the cuteness, and Jack can intimidate her.
Amber was itching to shop Saturday, and i needed new pants, so we hit Old Navy. she didn't get anything, but i got a pair of pants and a pink shirt with boxers that match it. whee, i have pink underwear for the first time in years.
i'm typing this from the lab in the library where we watch our Hitchcock movies. the movie tonight is Notorious.
i am such a boring fuddy duddy lately.
