ok so my dad gave me this book a year or two ago and i never got around to reading it, but it is David Blaine's auto biography Mysterious Stranger.
i read the whole thing front to cover from 12:45 Am to 7:00 Am i couldnt put the thing down. this guy is the on another level. Obviously he is a street magician and some of you may have seen his specials on tv and to an extent what he does is just quick hands and distraction tactics but he is someone who will make you second guess anything.
you may have also seen the live stunts he has preformed as they are aired on TV. stunts such as burying himself alive for almost a week, sealing himself in a 16 ton peice of glacial ice in times square for nearly four days, standing atop a 90 foot pole for about two days before jumping off it to fall into cardboard boxes, and most recently being suspended over tower bridge in london in a plastic box without food for 44 days.
