I've been thinking about the heap theory. You look at a heap of grain, but what defines it? If you have one piece of grain, it is just a piece of grain. Two pieces of grain, not a heap. Three pieces, not a heap. So on and so forth. So what defines the fine line between a heap and a piece of grain? Our language is so vague we haven't defined these principles. So what values would you use to define that line and where would you find these values? Same goes for baldness. If a man has one hair on his head, he is bald. Two hairs on his head, he is bald. Three, four, five hairs, bald. So if he has one million hairs he is still bald. Where in our language does it define the line between, "A and B" or "not A and not B"? Think, think, think...
