I do think it's better that you find a way to be happy so that you can share that with your daughter. It seems a more resonable way to live than to try and maintain something that isn't going to work.

All the statistics say otherwise, as long as the relationship isn't abusive. Divorce leaves deep scars on a child's psyche, and for the parents it is an avoidance rather than a solution to the problem
