I just found one of the most awesome websites i've come across in awhile. http://www.veganstreet.com
Even a short while after discovering it, i've gotten so much out of it as far as information to print and terribly tempting recipes which is just what I need to keep up the cooking action. Strangely enough, I spoke to Brooks for two minutes in the midst of checking the stuff out when he tells me, "I'm vegan".

The initial shock is lessening, yet it wasn't a total surprise as he has been progressing in this direction very quickly since becoming a vegetarian not much more than a month ago. I am very proud of him, once again, and of the enormous amount of compassion that has moved him to make such decisions. Really, not that much will change since the majority of the food we made together was delicious vegan cuisine. I am a strict vegetarian of about two years and three months and feel strongly that my time will come to make that transition also. It wouldn't be possible to do now since i'm not supporting myself, not to mention that i'm in a household of meat-eaters. I began the road of vegetarianism by myself and now i've got four vegans in my life (one a rather recent acquaintance that I shall soon meet, i believe). In my time as a herbivore I have admired vegans greatly.

And to Brooks... way to go man. We will have a crazy-ass toast when you get back on the 1st when we party like...
like... compassionate goons! Lets get ourselves back in the kitchen, too.
