Crappy Day

Yesterday was one of the crappiest days I've had in awhile. On the way to work I got a speeding ticket. It was my first one ever. I was ticked for going 55 in a 35. According to my speedometer I was going 50. I thought that the speed limit was 45. So now I have to worry about points on my license and paying an crazy amount of money for the ticket. I don't have a lot of extra money lying around, so this is going to royally screw me over. The cop told us that our brake lights weren't working and luckily didn't give us a ticket for defective equipment.

The school day wasn't that bad. I was in the room with another teacher. I read most of the day.

After school mom and I went to Walmart to get food and get brake lights. We get the stuff and go home. I decided that I'm going to install the new break lights. I get the old one out and try to put the new one in. It won't fit. I'm quit pissed off and throwing around quite a bit of expletives towards this stupid light and the even stupider instruction manual which told me to get the light that wouldn't fit.

Mom and I go out again to go to Blockbuster and AutoZone to get light bulbs that fit. We go to AutoZone, get the bulbs, and install them. Guess what? The brake lights still don't work. Oy! So we went to Blockbuster and I rented Hard Boiled. I watched it when I got home and it made me a little less pissed off.

I'm also finished with Feng Shui and very excited about running a game. I'm also a little scared that I won't be able to capture the action movie feel when I run a game. Hopefully I'll be able to. I rented Hard Boiled, so I could get into the action movie mode for when I run it. I love that movie.

Dad was able to fix the brake lights. I'm not sure how though. He is the master.

I applied for a job at the college library last week. I called them today. It hasn't been filled yet and they have my application. I doubt I'll get the job. Things like that don't happen to me.

I got to see Arielle today which makes me happy. I love her. She is awesome.
