Okay
Well, things have gotten much better lately. I started school, which in a way was a good thing, because I enjoy having things to do all the time. As lazy as I am, the work in school keeps me from being bored all the time.
I did some more research on my family tonight, and found out something that I was quite pleased to hear. Someone who had been somewhat knowledgable in the Italian surname thing told me Liso meant threadbare, Deliso meaning my family's first patriarch dressed like a dirtbag.
That's not the truth. The real meaning of Deliso or De Liso or whatever is one of three other things. One, it could be Liso meaning the old districts of the towns. Which means wherever my family name orginated from, I think Campania, my first Patriarch lived in the old district of Campania. The other two possibilites make it a patriarical name, making the Patriarch's first name either being Luigi or Eliseo.
That aside, school is good... I have one hundred and seventy seven days until I graduate. Kind of looking foward to college, though high school has been very fun. I've decided I'm going to make my dad happy and apply myself this year. The year is going to go mad fast as the past three have, so why fret over the work? It'll be over before I know it. Plus it could also do some good to raise the GPA a little bit.
My classes are good, Darlene is good, family is good, or atleast the same as they have been. Tomorrow is Friday, how exciting. I have to write my college essay this weekend, kind of excited for some of the plans I have going for the weekend. I would be happy if they didn't fall through as things usually do on me.
