So yeah....to all that read this, merry christmas, happy holidays, yup yup yup. Hopefully this Christmas eve isn't too painful as you spend time with your family, and filled with happiness...movies....booze and drugs, if you have them to spare...lol lol lol.
As for me...well...Its certainly been different around here than previous years...my mother has been grumbling all day that she "is glad that this is the last Christmas". She means that in because next year she has sabbatical from her university...and she plans on going someplace like Hawaii or Europe if she can get there. (And I know she can at least get to Hawaii...she knows plenty of people there.)
Now, Christmas in Hawaii is not my idea of a good time. It's like....Christmas in Florida, only with a 900 dollar plane ticket as well. If I want to spend Christmas in a warm climate, I can just stay at school. So it looks like next year I'm spending Christmas alone. And Senior year...well...that goddamn thesis (2-minute short) we Ringling Computer Animation students have to do will probably prevent me from spending any holidays.
So all you orphans, international students, and whoever the fuck else doesn't want to spend the holidays next year dealing with preachy parents and relatives....Christmas party at my house in FL next year, invite to all....and hopefully somebody can supply the drinks. >D
