So I'm sitting there all innocently in AP US History today and looking over our new essay question, due Friday. The question is very, very easy: to what extent did economics provoke the American Revolution?
[Answer: Duh. It was pretty much all about money. The British really fucked that one up.]
Anyway, while I'm working up my three points (for our outline, due Wednesday), Laura turns to me with a stricken expression on her face, like she's lost all faith in humanity (well, about as much as you can have and live in this godforsaken town) and goes, "Someone just asked 'What's economics mean?'."
