This night walk the dead in a solitary style...
We got adopted by a kitty!
See, we live out in the boonies a bit, and cats and 'coons get into our trash and stuff. Daddy got s BB gun to shoot them with (he doesn't aim to kill, it just hurts a lot and makes them not want to come back). Well, this one baby kitty (about a year old, maybe) was in our yard and Daddy eased out the door onto the front porch to shoot it. He aimed and was about to get it when it walked right up to him and rubbed against him and "Nyaaaaaaa"-ed. Daddy couldn't do it! XD He's gone soft. He figured any outdoor cat that friendly was probably okay and we've been feeding it and putting out water. We're going to take it in for shots and to get it spayed/neutered/whatever soon. She doesn't have a name yet, but I've been calling her "Baby Girl" and she answers to it, so...actually, you call pretty much anything in that "come here" tone and she comes! It's kind of cool. She's so affectionate, too. She just rubs up against you and nyans loudly and often.
The strange thing is, she looks just like Salem did when she was a kitten. XD
