My internet left me this weekend. Just up and walked out on me.
True, it technically wasn't mine, exactly. For the past two years, my neighbor was broadcasting a wireless signal, and had kindly not put a password on it. Using it was a bit of an ethical quandary, with many arguements for both sides, that was eventually settled by the fact that I wanted internet and it was right there in my apartment.
No longer though, as this weekend the internet has vanished. I still have access at work, largely to myself since I can use it while my measurements are being performed, but it looks like an end to random youtube searches for a while.
I'm sure I'll survive, I just don't quite know how. What did the Romans do with their limited net access?
