things did get better

If by some chance you read these and dont see me reguarly you are going to miss out on most the stories about life on crutches and in a cast. The accident was about two months ago and though my leg isnt done healing, I'm done letting it dominate my thoughts.

Classes are going very well. But you expect that of me don't you?

I meet with my bio-adviser tomorrow to clarify what i need to graduate. Plans for after graduation vary from taking art classes for a while to see if the biology thing was a mistake to directly enrolling in a genetic enjineering phd program. I do have a plan going through summer at least. Taking the bio and general GREs and getting an apartment with the guys. After years of being 208's fifth roommate I might finnaly get to sleep in the same residence as my mates!

My honors thesis idea excites me. I intend to do a comic book/strip/thing about college students. Overdone and cheep a topic as it may be, i think i have a new touch to bring to the feild so I'm doing it anyway. Besides, I'm really attached to the main characters already! I might base the academic portion of the project on student development theory which my RA class is exposing me to. I like the idea of my thesis project being based on college itself rather than what i have been studying here.

To follow up the last post a little. Jason is doing fine. He is very busy with his education project and a few weeks away from graduating. It was a hard thing to do but looking back I'm endlessly pleased that I did. It has opened up my schedule and allowed me to be much more liberal in planing out my future.
