Not an idiot no, In truth you were very flustered that day. Dragon Dormant was hosting Crown Tourney, (Lucan won) and you were not able to fight as your chin strap broke. I had the "Z" bag with me and was able to provide the materials for a chin strap.

Afterwards you had someone point me out as I was watching the fighting and you surprised me by kneeling in front of me to thank me.

You reminded me on that day at that moment what chivalry is and for that I take the time now to thank you.
