Pleasent weekend, all in all
I'm down and out as usually happens when I have down time, but had a nice weekend, all in all. Helped at the Girl Scout Cookie Rally on Saturday morning-afternoon. It was nice to be in that atmosphere, but rather bittersweet as I had been on the committee last year and my digital photo booth wasn't quite as cool last year, not to mention all the flood of memories coming back from when my ex supported and helped me with it before. The girls seemed to be having a good time. Napped the rest of the afternoon away after returning my piles of snowshoes (thanks to the nice stranger who helped me cart them into the store). Went and exercised and then went up to a nice bar. If I ever get a nice date (why the hell do I keep using the word "nice"???) I'd want to take them up there for some dancing. Didn't stay long, though, as my friends wanted to go down to the Bulldog where I watched H get drunk and J give relationship advice and had to stop M from chatting on and on about R and making me depressed. I really don't like the Bulldog. Started a horrible headache, so after carting the "make-outers" to JIB and back, I was ready to relax and sleep. Still had the headache this morning, but got up and went out to church and Costco for my nice photos. Took another nap and read a book under my warm blanket, went to a movie which was fun, and against my rules never to go to a movie alone--my friends said they wanted to be lazy and stay on their couches. Then went to exercise where I found they had gotten off their couches and arrived about when I did. Now I am going to go out for some ice cream and mini golf to end the evening. :) How nice.
