Odd dream...
I had a really odd dream tonight...
I was somewhere, talking to friends. Might have been a party or something like that. Suddenly my heart started acting up, skipping beats and feeling really strange in my chest. Had some sort of instrument to listen to it, and I heard the beat, quite fast but more importantly, beating in all the wrong way. I remembered that I had made self-surgery to the heart. When getting some sort of modification (a bodymod I think, like body piercing, or a cybernetic eye or... something like that) I had to get a new heart with two chambers instead of 4 (however in the dream I said that a normal heart had 3 chambers). The heart was oblong and very compact, beating harder. I had do change the heart myself (now in the flashback I see myself do it) and had gotten a "do it yourself"-kit from an internet order. The DIY included a heart of some sort of animal, a scalpel, local anaesthetic some thread and a one-page instruction manual. I remember cutting myself open and... well, removing the old heart, putting in the new one and stitching it firmly in place. As I return from the flashback I remember calming myself down as much as possible, as it was still healing and too fast a beating heart would tear the stitches.
No real point to the dream, and I don't remember what happens next... but lately my heart have been known to skipping beats, feeling odd in my chest. Doctors say it isn't anything to worry about though.
