Coffee house was last night.
I think in the event's specialness, I’ll put this into a play form:
Act one:
Scene one: Hannah arrives and no one is there. Hannah sees the stage and then this little girl who is staring at her, clearly from after school, the last of the batch. Hannah, thinking quickly, decides to ask her "does this look like i have rose colored lacy panties?" and shocked, the girl goes, "No! That's your shirt right?” Hannah sighs a sigh of relief
Scene two: Hannah sees Olivia and breaths yet another sigh of relief. Hannah and Olivia frolic while carrying speakers the size of Pam Anderson's bazoombas from one side of the stage to another. They are sent to bring pillows. They go up the stairs and comment on how out of shape they are. How convenient. Panting they go to the senior room and notice how sad it is that the waiting lists for colleges that seniors have applied to are up and sense the sadness and yet hopefulness the aura brings. Hannah doesn't know how to spell that word. LOL. Olivia and Hannah begin the opening song: She’s a brick *BUM BUM BUM BUM* house! In which they are lugging heavy pillows up and down the stairs while Murr puts perfumes on or something. Then they are forced to collect tacks and count how many times little Allie is on the board in the kindergarten room. They come back and are forced to light candles, although already on a natural high. Olivia decides to be OCD and convinces Hannah’s mind that it, too, is OCD, and they put the candles, Vanilla Cream and Cucumber scents, equidistant from each other and the stage’s edge. How utterly pathetic. Hannah finds a lighter, via Murr, and uses it for some but this is one crappy lighter so Mr. Brock takes a paper and lights it on fire to light the rest. Hannah breaks the lighter in attempt to show up Mr. Brock. Scene two ends as Hannah and Olivia OCD-ingly try to evenly space the pillows which they so laboriously brought down from the senior room and Hampton Commons.
Act two:
Scene one: Olivia finds a place backstage. Hannah finds mats and baby felt blankets, which they both need two of these because who are they kidding, the kindergarteners are the size of their heads put together. They watch as it begins, but, lo! The piano won’t work. Hannah finds the button, and the day is saved, or so it seems! The boys come with their amateur songs and make congested farm animal sounds; Hannah and Olivia smirk. During this time they decide to go and sing a song. The second tune starts. Take my hand; Take my whole life too! The crowd boos. They decide to go to the library and get out the lyrics from the evil printer. They tame the printer and come back down and play with the stampy markers in the kindergarten room. Thus ends the Coffeehouse, but hey, it was just like that last time. Third time is the charm.
Scene two: Hannah and Olivia are tired after cleaning up and going in the elevator with Billy M. and Caroline G. It was fun, because they almost got to hear the 20 questions for the Wicked Witch of the West. That would have made Hannah’s day. They decided to go out the back way because they were definitely cool like that. Surprised? Bite me. So Hannah and Olivia go out the back, Hannah’s feet blistering from her shoes (stupid choice.) The two FAA reps frolic onto the pavement and try to open the gate. It isn’t working. Hannah climbs over after five minutes, and Olivia looks at Hannah like she is a maniac. Hannah reasons with Olivia and then fears for Olivia’s death when she starts to climb over; Hannah learned not to sing TAKE MY HAND because of health hazards. That’s all I’m going to say, LOL. Well, the science teacher for the tenth grade came out, and the trio learned they were locked out, joy. After much shoe throwing at Hannah for some reason, everyone got over the fence. Hannah and Olivia frolicked away and the science teacher went her way. What a bonding experience.
