"That's because you need to run your general g-"
"I'm not using that method. I'm following Redmond's instructions-"
"Which are utter crap," she interrupted. "Adam, what were you thinking? You should know better! You know very well that Redmond's nothing but a hack who can't hack his way out of a wet paper bag!"
"It was supposed to be an interesting challenge!"
"Adam-" The sound of a throat clearing interrupted her, and she turned to see Reid in the doorway. "Got to go. Good luck working your way out of that mess."
"Problems?" Reid asked as she hung up.
Penelope shook her head and rolled her eyes. "He was following Redmond's instructions. Can you believe that? Of all the stupid, idiotic things to do."
"For a case?"
"No, thank god," she said with a sigh. "For a MMORPG we've been playing. We're in the same guild and he's trying to level up and of all the-" She caught herself, giving Reid a half-smile. "But that's beside the point. What's up?"
"I was wondering if you could pull some data for from some old cases," he pulled up a chair next to her desk and started to outline what he was looking for.
"No problem," she said, patting her computer monitor. "I know just where to look."
