ZeldaQueen: Well, after taking a horrible dump on Elizabeth's character, Kate goes on to be useless. Who would have guessed?

Chapter 29: Return of the Dutchman
Kate’s Point of View
“Let go of me!” I hissed as I struggled against the Bo’Sun’s painful, vice-like grip.
He clicked his tongue. “Be nice, lass, and come with me.”
ZeldaQueen: (Bo’Sun) “You’re being kicked out of this fandom, whether you like it or not. Now come quietly, and no one gets hurt”
“I’m not going anywhere!”
I whirled round to face him, bringing the very hilt of my sword crashing into his jaw. He shouted in pain, and I brought the blade across his back.
ZeldaQueen: My, that must take talent, considering that the two of you were facing each other. Unless he swung around a full 180 degrees or you jumped over his head first, there ought to be no way you could have managed that
He released my arm, and I scurried away towards the edge of the tropical forest. I dashed through the trees, scanning the thicket for Jack, and I was lucky to come upon him as he knelt before a small object that glinted lightly in the sun: the chest! He had gotten the key and opened the chest!
ZeladQueen: That was certainly quick. Tell me, how long did it take you to clock that guy? Because I highly doubt that it was enough time for Jack, Norrington, and Will to take their fight into the woods and for Elizabeth, Pintell, and Ragetti to fight each other and the pirates
“Jack!” I exclaimed as I hurried to him.
He jumped to his feet and flashed me his famous crooked grin. “I got it!”
“You have the heart? Kill him!”
ZeldaQueen: What? The only reason that this effing fight started was because you brought up that Jack couldn’t stab the heart! And now you want him to? Make up your damned mind!!!
A dull roar of yelling erupted from near the center of the forest, and Jack and I turned, glanced at one another, and then dashed off towards the beach.
“I can’t kill him yet,” said Jack, panting as we hurried through the forest, ducking to avoid underbrush. “Not until he calls the beastie off the hunt.”
ZeldaQueen: A fact which Kate remembered when Jack didn’t and now Jack remembers when Kate doesn’t
I growled under my breath. I should have blackmailed Jones while I was still aboard his ship;
ZeldaQueen: Back when you were on the ship, you were too busy angsting about True Love and how you were going to stab the heart to be rid of Jones
I knew that I had some power over him, however little it was, due to the fact that I was the reincarnation of his wife. If he had turned himself into a beast for her, what else could he do? Would he be willing to call off the Kraken if I agreed to…?
ZeldaQueen: In other words, she’s going to whore herself out for this. I love how she basically is saying she has Jones by the balls because she looks like his old wife. Of course, I’m sure Sirena was hardly any better, so I guess it’s fitting
I brushed the thought from my mind. I could never marry Jones; but if I did marry him, perhaps I could convince him to call off the hunt and Jack would be safe.
ZeldaQueen: That makes sense. “No! I’ll never marry Jones! But if I did, here’s how I could make it work to my advantage…”
No! No! Stop it!
Jack and I had reached the beach, only to find several of the ocean ruler’s nightmarish crew behind us. Withdrawing our swords, we began to attack as they lunged towards us. I noted that Jack had turned and hurried towards the dinghy, though I said nothing as I tried to fend off the onslaught of crew.
ZeldaQueen: Oh, aren’t you so aware of everything?
Meanwhile, a giant mill wheel had rolled onto the beach. I paused a moment to look at it quizzically, and could barely suppress a laugh as James and Will stumbled from the wheel, swaggering through the shallows as they fought to keep their balance and whatever scraps of dignity they had left.
ZeldaQueen: I FUCKING HATE YOU!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE OF ANY USE THIS ENTIRE TIME? AND NO, CLOCKING BO’SUN DOESN’T COUNT, BECAUSE ALL IT DID WAS KEEP YOU FROM GETTING KIDNAPPED AT THAT VERY MOMENT!!!
As I raised my sword to strike at one of the enemy crew, I felt something - slimy, wet, and warm - wrap around my ankle. I gasped,
ZeldaQueen: (Kate) “Ohh, more baby! More!”
and screamed as I met
ZeldaQueen: - her maker
the sand.
“Jack!” I screamed.
ZeldaQueen: Dude, you’re a pirate! Just stab the damned thing!
He hurried towards me, lunged, and was able to grab my hand.
ZeldaQueen: DO YOU, OR DO YOU NOT HAVE WEAPONS???
“Hold on, Kate!” he said as he tried to pull me from the slithering tentacle’s grasp. I struggled, though found it useless.
ZeldaQueen: Much like yourself, I’m sure
I screamed again as I was ripped away from Jack, and I realized that the tentacle was dragging me towards the water.
ZeldaQueen: I must ask, what is this thing again? None of Davy Jones’s crew has tentacles this long and the Kraken doesn’t work like this. Is this supposed to be one of those monsters from The Mist?
… Oh, I do hope that’s the case! Then she can be messily killed and devoured!
I fought desperately, and I felt my body growing weak from the effort. I finally fell limp, my eyes and muscles heavy as lead, just as I felt the warmth of the Caribbean water embrace me.
ZeldaQueen: How much effort does it take to struggle against a tentacle?
And oh look, she’s kidnapped by Jones. Again
Upon opening my eyes again I found myself lying on a familiar deck. I gasped as I bolted upright, and found Davy Jones standing over me, a smirk on his face.
ZeldaQueen: THIRD TIME, PEOPLE! THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED!
“Welcome back aboard the Dutchman, Mrs. Sparrow,” he said with a dark humor, causing the rest of his crew to snicker.
My eyes widened, my body frozen in fear.
ZeldaQueen: You’d think by now she would be used to this!
And no, no bets as to whether or not she’s just allowed to wander around without anyone keeping an eye on her. That wouldn’t be fair
(Author’s Note: I saw Pirates 3 last night. Holy crap. It was the best one of them all! And Jack’s back and takes off his shirt! Woohoo!
ZeldaQueen: And we all know that’s what’s really important, eh?
The action sequences, locations, and special effects were amazing; you actually felt like you were in their world. You won’t be disappointed. I wish I was a pirate; my life is so boring compared to theirs.)
ZeldaQueen: Yes, it's just so much fun to run around, murder, torture, kidnap, battle, and almost certainly get hung if the authorities catch you.
…You don’t know what the life of a pirate was really like, do you?
