I know. What the heck did poor Mike ever do? Bella never misses an opportunity to belittle him, despite the fact that he's been nothing but nice to her.

And yes, the level of obsession that Bella and Edward have with each other is disturbing.

And she refers to him as a Labrador. And only thinks he's sweet when she's taking advantage of him. What a charming girl.

I hope Meyer realized that Jane Austen actually *meant* for Emma Woodhouse to be a manipulative witch...
