Back from the un-dead.
I'm feeling very much better now. Thanks to everyone who was concerned.
Definitely out of the LiveJournal loop now that I am banned from it at work and the idea of computing at home usually disturbs me. P.S. I sold my computer as I was primarily using Mike's anyway. Going to get a laptop when I go back to school, but that is a ways off.
Had a SUPER-FANTASTIC day today, and it is only half over. Spent time wandering the city with Tina, who I love completely. She is one of those fantastic people who remind me of the good and the life and the fire in the world. It also involved a free facial (from Lush, I smell like a chocolate cupcake now), free hand massage, and some delightful retail therapy. I even bought music CDs, as I am trying to get back into that.
WORST EXPERIENCE SINCE LAST POST:
Hearing a friend of a friend of a friend (I am thrice removed, thank Jebus) say that she didn't want to watch a Japanese movie because there was Japanese people in it.
I wish I was joking. She was not.
I know heaps of people are racist and think racism (as with most other -isms) is okay. I just thought that these people were supposed to know that they aren't supposed to be that way. At least not in public.
The more I think about it, the less I believe it. I wish I had it on tape.
REGARDLESS:
I hope everyone is having a kickass weekend, regardless of conditions (weather or otherwise) in your area.

Good news: my cousin's wedding is in Toronto now. Mike can come and we can visit Kingston, Ottawa and Montreal. Chocolatebark, you shall indeed see my smiling face again soonish. Provided you are in one of those places when I am. Late July, actual date TBA.
