[He doesn't dream very often, but once in a while, he does. Tonight just happens to be one of those nights. And like his dreams tend to be, it's nothing pleasant. It's another memory distorted by time and by some dark part of his mind.]

[Link might see, from his vantage point on the tower, be able to see the beam move as Viscen tries unsuccessfully to lever it off of himself.]

[He runs down the Tower as fast as he can, picking his way down the half-crumbled stairwell. It isn't until he's almost there that he sees who it is.]
Captain! Hang on; I'll get you out!
[It takes a moment to figure out which way to lever the beam without crushing Viscen any further, but he finds it and hefts the beam off of the Captain.
[Then he kneels next to the Captain, one hand already going for the bandages in his pouch.] Captain, are you all right?

Fine...I'm fine. What happened?!?
[Apparently, he's a little shell-shocked.]

[He starts bandaging the Captain's side, biting his lip.]
What happened? The... [He shakes his head and makes himself say it.] The moon fell.

The--I told them--
[He takes a deep, unsteady breath.]
What of the town? Were others spared?

You're the only person I've seen alive since it hit.

We should look.
[Or if Link won't, Viscen should. His last duty to a dead city.]

[He offers the Captain his hand.] You can lean on me if you need to.

All right.
[He pauses and flinches at the destruction around them. It's enough to make him wonder how the two of them survived.]
We should start...close to the city walls.
...Where they used to be, at least.

[He starts making his way carefully through the rubble, checking over his shoulder here and there to make sure the Captain's all right.
[For the moment, he doesn't see anyone.]
Hello? Is anyone there?

[Viscen knows from experience that calling for the leader of the Bombers is likely to flush out most of the others if they're around, and he also knows that none of their families chose to evacuate. His greatest hope is for the children...]
