[Searching for any sign of life in this new, empty Hyrule, Goron Link spots Saria in the distance. He quickly makes his way to her, eager to talk to someone.]

Hey! Hey, goro!

[Catching up to her, GLink realizes she looks oddly familiar.]

You look like someone I know, goro. I'm Link, what's your name?

[Saria smiles politely, glad to see she's finally found someone in this vast field.]

Oh, hi!

[As the Goron states his name, Saria's a bit surprised]

Oh, your name is Link? My best friend's name is Link!

Well, my name is Saria. It's nice to meet you!

[At Saria's introduction, GLink remembers who she reminds him of.]

Oh! You dress just like my big brother, goro! His name was Link, too.

[Saria thinks this over for a moment.]

Really? Another person named Link, who dresses like a Kokiri, too? How curious!

Yes, goro! And he used to play his fairy flute for Dad.

Do you play a flute, goro?

[Saria giggles.]

Oh, you must mean an Ocarina, right? Yes, I do! In fact, I have mine with me right now...

[Reaching into a pocket in her clothing, she pulls out the Fairy Ocarina.]

Oh, boy, goro!

Can you play a song? Please? I'll even dance for you, goro! I learned from my dad!

Well, of course!

[Putting the Ocarina to her lips, she begins to play the Lost Woods song.]

Goro goro goro! That's Brother Link's song!

[Delighted by the music, GLink starts leaping around, dancing in true Darunia style.]

What a wild beat, goro!

[Saria continues the play the song, but almost interrupts it as she nearly giggles at the sight of the Goron's dance. Though she's not entirely sure 'wild beat' is an accurate description of the tune, she's glad he's enjoying it.]

[GLink becomes so engrossed in his dance that he starts to sing as well, in goron syllables.**]

Goro goro goro goro gorooooo!

[She still continues to play, trying to ignore the fact that the young Goron's singing rather hurts her ears, though she's not going to say anything about it.]

[Finally, GLink gets tired of dancing and collapses back on his bottom.]

What a wonderful song, goro! You play just like Brother Link!

[GLink perks up suddenly.]

Have you seen anyone around here, goro? Perhaps even a man who looks like you?

Oh. I can't find anyone either, goro. Not even my dad.
