[in the corner of a tavern in town sat one Hero Without End. Various sheets of paper were strewn around on the table he was sitting at. Some had been filled completely with either Ancient or Modern Hylian, others had music scores drawn over them and still more had a combination of both

[Another sheet is blotted out before he sets his quill down to rub at his eyes again. He didn't want to sleep just ye-]

[turns to look at her before giving her a small smile]

Is there anything you need?

[Goddesses, he hated this place sometimes]

[blink, the lack of sleep must be getting to him (or his memory was being iffy again... Yet where was the headache?)]

... It's okay. After being here for so long, I forgot that the Hero wasn't a common sight. I should be apologizing for startling you. [pause] Did you manage to find your Hero though?

The Hero seems to have some things in common. I suppose our stubborn tendencies are one of them.

[moves some more paper away so she has room on the table]

I ate this morning, had some sleep last evening. [not really sleep, but it counted as resting! Even if it was brief]

Were all the girls he knew tomboys? it's really because he's such a pushover la;sdjkfsa There's a quiet sigh before he finishes picking up all the sheets of paper - tossing out the ones that couldn't be used again - and set them out of the way. There's one sheet of paper that ends up in his pack instead of the pile where the others are. Whatever is written on it though, he doesn't plan on divulging.

Link stands alone for a bit longer before walking towards the kitchen to check up on Marin]

Where you're from... Is the cold a rare thing? [not a question he needed to ask but it would be less awkward than if he simply blurted out all he could remember. That reckless behaviour was probably why she was so suspicious of him initially]

The people here are welcoming, I'm sure someone with your personality can find someone to help. [walks next to her and looks at the stew]

It's simply because of the seasons. Hyrule's warmer than this during the spring and summer.
