Socialization in the midst of rebuilding
Following the great Battle of Kakariko Village, the heroes of Hyrule assess the situation. By the mercy of the Three, there were no known casualties, and Hyrule's own latent magic soon sets to work restoring the destroyed buildings -- the burned homes, the collapsed watchtower -- and replenishing food supplies.
Everyone's favorite purple sorcerer has promised to ward the well, so it will no longer serve as an entry point for evil. Harper and the two younger Zeldas return from Telma's Inn, Harper's broken leg having been carefully set. Those who were injured in battle are invited en masse to come to the inn as needed for medical care.
The invitation actually stands open to everyone in the allied forces. Whether for tending of injuries, a hot meal, or the simple joy of good companionship, all are welcome.
[ooc: Basically, this was going to be a social post before our brilliant Gannigus cooked up the invasion, so now it's doubling as a social and recovery post. As long as they come with peaceful intent, anyone is welcome to tag this post for an individual thread (or threads) with characters who live at or frequent the inn. No fighting; arguing is okay, but physical violence will get you tossed! :D Not that you can't come back right away...
For reference, the permanent residents of the inn are Jewel (jewel_of_hyrule), Linksha (linkshaia), Shad (twilit_scholar), Ashei (ashei_yeah), LA Link (koholint_hero), LttP Zelda (turtlerockqueen), and Harper (last_sheik). Also, although nobody's quite aware of it, Sheik (shadowofhyrule) lives on the roof of the inn. Green (xgreenswordx) and Vio (xpurpleswordx), though not permanent residents, have been staying at the inn while Green recovers from his recent illness. This is kind of a 'day in the life of the inn-crowd' post, so they of course can have threads to interact with each other.
The business about the buildings fixing themselves and the food restocking comes from Ye Olde Modly Godly fierce_deity. Thread as much and as often as you like, my inbox can take it. Have fun -- and Happy Halloween!]
