An Unexpected Awakening
[Dawn spreads slowly over the Kakariko graveyard, the pale light filtering over the headstones as it always does, bringing illumination to the places of rest. It is a quiet, misty morning, the clouded skies impeding the progress of the sun to a sluggish crawl.]
[Today however, there is an addition to the graves, a prone form lying on the grass of an empty plot. In the growing morning it becomes more visible, a mess of blond hair, a tattered white tabard, and a pristine uniform of darkened shades of blue. As a breeze blows the figure stirs, the sheathes of his dirks clacking softly at his hips. He lets out an exhale and rises to his hands and knees, shaking out his head before he stops entirely, frozen to the spot.]

[He pushes to his feet at once, only to arch with a wince and a hiss as he gingerly puts one hand to his back. Beneath his white cowl he mouths several curses, then stops, confusion flickering in red eyes before giving way to rueful understanding. The hand not on his back moves to brush a stained rip in the cowl at his throat.]

[Done with his personal assessment he lowers his hands and gives his surroundings a sweeping glance. The mist has thickened momentarily, catching the sun's occasional rays. Turning, he observes the rising dawn.]
((Only the Lady Impa would know to place me face down with my feet to the east, to anchor the shadow to she sun but let it hide from her gaze.))
[He glances to the unmarked spot in which he lay and gives a barely visible nod of affirmation.]

[Hands automatically checking his weapons, he rolls out his neck and joints with satisfying pops, although he winces when his back shifts. Then, with no other clear direction, he begins walking towards the Shadow temple. Perhaps the governing souls would know.]
