[This particular day, there is a very noticeable change in the expansive Hyrule Field. The sky is overcast with a smooth, encompassing sheet of soft gray clouds. A chilly breeze flows on by, and small flurries begin swirling and fluttering down into the cold air, and onto the ground below.]
[But the landscape itself is already a stark white,

[In Ordon, he'd always enjoyed snow. Snow meant hot drinks, crackling fires, and the harvest's end.
But snow in Hyrule was much different. It always made everything difficult, especially now, when he'd woken up to find several of his items that he'd laid out the previous night before to be lost under a thick sheet of snow.
And even worse...]
[- He dug a little, snuffled, and then sneezed on the snow in front of his paws -]
[..Fur did absolutely nothing to cut the cold air.]

[he shakes the snow off his cloak and draws it closer around him once again before continuing to walk through the white powder that had layered the ground. Really, this place was completely off. Whoever heard of snow falling during his Goddess' season? Windy, yes, but this was-]
...?
[the sound of a sneeze caught his attention and he looked around for the source of it only to see...]
... Heh, only white wolfos would be out at this time of year. What do you think you're doing, little one?
[no, he hasn't quite realized who it is yet]

The wetness of the snow was an irritant to the senses. Granted, the wind carried far fewer distractions when the weather was bitter like this, but the cold moisture constricted the lungs with a dry burn. It made it difficult to smell; difficult to swallow entire breaths.
But even so, up close, Keane smelled faintly of fennel spice, linen, and several other things that he didn't recognize. An appropriately distinctive mix, he decided.]
Rrrhh.
[He jerked his head back to the boulders he'd been digging between, and bounded back over to stand between them. The snow was clearly dug up in several areas, great holes spotting a tiny portion of the field.]

...
[he sighs softly before motioning it to step away from the boulders. Sure, it may not work at all, but hey~ He's not wasting time digging through this much snow. Okay, so maybe he was just bored with nothing else to do...
Murmuring a few words, he takes a moment to build up magic before creating a small gust to blow away the lighter top layer of the snow in that area. There's a frown before he shrugs]
And that's the best I can do without permission. Just what are you looking for anyway?

Link hesitated awkwardly, the silence punctuated by a short wag of his tail, as he tried to decide how to attempt to convey this.]
Rrrhhh roff.
[This, in Hylian, would probably have been something like 'sword and shield!']

It must be odd talking like that, hm? [looks at the marks on it's forehead then the cuff on it's leg. Murmured to himself] You're not the Endless one but you're not just a normal wolf either. Which one of Twilight would you be then?
[it takes him a moment to go through his own experience before he wanders over to the buried goods again and looks around...]
Hm. You don't have the Master Sword yet? [and he kicks at the corner of the shield that was partly uncovered- hey, wait a minute]
Ah! So you're the beginner~ Funny seeing you looking like that though. [proceeds to pull out the items]
Reply
[He made as much of a face as a wolf could when Keane called him a beginner. But when the items his dredged up from the snow, he leapt on then, tail wagging happily.]
[In some semblance of thanks, he pawed at Keane's left boot slightly before biting the edge of the ornate wooden shield to stick it on his back.
A shoddy sort of balancing act, but it'd do for now.]

[a flicker of some strange emotion (rage? confusion?) flies across Llwyn's face at the pawing but he watches the other's balancing act quietly before creating a breeze to blow away more of the snow so he could find the other item...
And retrieves the Ordon Sword shortly]
Where do you intend to go? The normal methods for your return to your 'true form'- Hmm...
[ooc: Just so you know, AU has the Shadow Crystal on him... ;>> ]

When the sword is retrieved, this too, is stuck on his back beneath the shield.]
[He plopped down on his hackles as he listened to Keane's question - to which he only shook his head in response. He didn't know where he'd go. Finding his equipment had been step one... everything to follow seemed as though it'd be chosen based on whatever impulsive option seemed to follow best.
There were other Links; future versions of himself. They'd certainly know something.]
ooc: I just changed him kinda randomly.... Link doesn't have the crystal or anything else that would make him change. So this is sorta a rule break..?
He will eventually want to change back, though, so that helps! Thank you. You'll have to direct me to that character.

He was right, some things really don't vary from Hero to Hero. [thoughtful look] Though I guess age might be a factor in it too. Anyway, might as well get somewhere warmer until the weather changes back to normal. It's not very comfortable moving around in that form while it's like this, is it?
[and once again, he turns and starts walking towards town]
[ooc: this is a dressing room, anything goes. I just thought that I'd put it out there so you'd know for future reference? |D; and dude, assuming Llwyn and AU don't kill each other in that other post I made once I get around to tagging again adfjkl he'll probably direct you there. ]

[Well, he hadn't warped. So Link takes this as invitation enough that following is acceptable. So, after a moment's consideration, he does.
He trots to catch up and then pads easily at Keane's side, occasionally looking up at his more Hylian companion.
In this state he couldn't exactly offer a great deal of conversation, but from what he'd gathered from many of their previous conversations, Keane was used to - or at least comfortable with - being alone. One silent wolf couldn't be adding too much.]
ooc: All right! <3 Ty.

Here there were only people who looked like them]
[nonetheless, he doesn't seem to mind keeping silent for a change... Though upon reaching the plaza of Castle Town, he takes a quick look around before walking over to the empty Inns]
People won't mind a wolf staying here. Unless you want to change back, but that might be a bit of an issue...

[Link knew that the change had to be done out of the company of people. That much, was obvious. People normally feared the large wolf that occasioned the Village - mostly at night - mistaking him for a monster of the Twilight.]

Ah, right, you've just begun. The rules haven't been set out for you just yet, have they? [quiet sigh] Ahh, Faron, Ordona, so much like Youngest
Changing in front of others, you know that would cause havoc, though most of the people here are Heroes and Princesses. There are a few other details, but... [turns and smiles] I won't bore you with them.
[he opens the door and stands to one side so that the other may enter. Llwyn, on the other hand, doesn't seem to want to enter the building]

[As far as he'd learned, this Hyrule seemed to be fairly lawless. But he'd take the other's word for now.]
[He trotted inside the serene warmth of the building when the door was opened, then looked back over his shoulder. It was fairly clear that Keane either didn't want to come inside, or had some reason not to. Mysterious, but, not unexpected.
Link let out a short, indeterminate huff of a bark and wagged his tail twice.]

You want an explanation for your beast form, bark once for yes, twice for no, or whine if that wasn't the answer you wanted.
