[Another unexpected welcome. Link stares at Ruto, and rubs the back of his neck sheepishly before speaking.]

But you don't seem to be the same person...

[expression becomes slightly disappointed]

Where are we? Well, this is supposed to be Hyrule but I'm not so sure about that any more... [frowns]

I know another Link! [He says, happily, thinking he knows exactly who Ruto's referring to] He's this tall, [holds up a hand] And has rocks on his back.

[He stares at her when she mentions Hyrule, appearing very confused again- and a little sad, too.]

The Goron boy? I know him as well, but that's really not who I'm referring to.

[surprised by his reaction]

[Hesitates, and then speaks..]

The Legendary Kingdom of Hyrule is under the Great Sea...

The legends say that the Golden Goddesses flooded it...

[Link looks confused again, and somewhat surprised by this news. Exactly what kind of place was this? It couldn't really be Hyrule, could it?]

Time travel? But that's silly! I mean, I've never heard of it being possible...

[frowns and folds arms]

But then again, with all the weird stuff going on lately, maybe that's just as likely as any other explanation...

[Sighs, but then realized she hasn't introduced herself.]

Oh, I forgot... Let me introduce myself! My name is Ruto, Princess of the Zoras. [nods]

[He rubs the back of his head sheepishly. Ruto's a little blunt, but the way she talks reminds him vaguely of his young sister, Aryll.]

The Hero of Time could move back and forth through time! [he says, seeming pleased with himself. He'd always loved the stories the elders of his told of the legendary hero.]

[He smiles when she introduces herself]
