[One of the Heroes is aimlessly wandering Castle Town under the cover of night. It's cold, and -directing a withering stare at an innocent lamppost- he mentally chastises himself for not choosing someplace warmer to sulk. He doesn't like the Autumns and Winters of this Hyrule; All the cold ever reminds him of are the early mornings spent draping

[Where he normally might have been attuned to the stone a few seconds before it arrived into his direct path, instead he was easily caught off guard by the interruption. Whenever he stopped to really think, the world always felt as though it were suddenly moving much more slowly than usual. Objects- stones, enemies- felt slower, too.]

[He bends slowly to pick up the stone and- from a crouched position- surveys the general rooftop area where it'd seemed to have fallen from. It takes a moment for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, but eventually he picks out the familiar face.]

[He rolls the stone over in his hand, and smiles wanly at the ground.]

...I'm trying to sulk, you know.

[ooc;; So sorry for the wait! ;^; I've been busy with my English midterm for the past two days. I know I should have said something, but I really haven't even had the time to get online between studying and basic human functioning (sleep, eating, etc). That being said, I hope you don't feel like I'd forgotten about you, because I held onto your tag in my inbox until just now.]

[there's a bored sigh before he hops off the roof and walks towards the other]

You're always trying to sulk lately. At this rate, a storm cloud might just make it's home above your head. Can't imagine any inns letting you get food and board if that happened.

Besides... Didn't you do something like this already last year?

[ooc: ffff no problem, I just finished my midterms on Thursday hence tagging. Otherwise, I probably would have... never noticed this post. derp orz ]

[He stands up, and straights as Llwyn approaches.]

It's annual. Like a holiday. [Slight frown.] Anyways, I don't see why already having done it has much to do about anything. You're old- [It's less of an insult and stated more matter of factly] you should understand that people just...do this stuff, sometimes.

[ooc: Oh! In that case, I feel better. :3 Good for us both finishing though, right?]

What a depressing holiday. Those sorts of things should be left for memorials, and days that feel like they're going nowhere. [pause] Though I bet it feels that way to you right now, doesn't it?

[a pointed look at the old statement] Forgive me if I try to stay out of the affairs of strangers.

[ooc: until December rolls around at least |D; ]

[He hesitates, as if considering the ramifications of conceding that point. It felt true enough, but it wasn't as though the feeling was a unique one in a land filled with strangers frozen in time.]

[Finally, he nods.]

Well, I meant you, and your own experiences. [Looks over] Not strangers, or other people.

[ooc: well, we'll worry about that when it comes. 8)]

[his typical smile] I tend to find more productive things to do than sulk. Goodness knows that people do that enough without those like me adding to it.

[yea, he does it too but there's no way he's admitting it to you]

[Frowns, although he's clearly lifting out of his mental funk.]

Why should people always have to be productive, though?

Because if everyone spends all their time sulking, thinking that someone else will be productive for them, then the world will stagnate.

[shrugs] There's also health and living benefits and other such things that you'll probably run into much, much later in life. But I'll let you figure those out on your own~

[It's a lecture, he decides- not one that he's at all beyond or shouldn't listen to, of course- but a lecture all the same.]

[Mumbles;] At least nothing broke, this time.

Ahh~ That was so distressing. I thought for sure I'd get in trouble for not stopping you sooner. [it's said in such a light hearted manner, as if it meant very little to him]

I trust you haven't been doing anything else destructive lately?

[severs_twilight]

[He hesitates] Get in trouble...? Why? It wasn't as though it was your fault.

But I was the closest person to the incident, so the task of making sure that nothing out of hand happens falls to me. Admittedly, I probably would have gotten off easier had they found out that it was the two of you who did it, but nonetheless...
