[In Kakariko, there is the smell of copper in the air. The smell lingers in the mouth, bitter. If one tries to find the source of it, they will be led to the gate of Kakariko, beneath the single tree.
[Kaepora Gaebora, the purveryor of knowledge in Hyrule, lies there in two pieces. His body is hunched up, feathers in a disarray, and blackened with blood. His head lies two feet away, turned over at its side. The eyes are white. On the wall above his head there is a message, written in blood and mottled feathers sticking to the words: "Should I repeat? Should I repeat? Should I repeat?" There is no sign of any other life near the owl, but there are red steps--heel-toe, heel-toe--leading away from the owl and finally up to Death Mountain, and then disappearing.]
[OOC: So, this is a free-for-all comingling post! Kaepora obviously can't tag you. You're free to try to find the killer (or they'll find you). You can all tag eachother, and feel free to jump posts. The killer's footsteps lead up to Death Mountain and then disappear...so they might have doubled back, and now walk among you. Blame each other, blame yourself, but the real killer will make an appearance soon enough. If you choose to chase them up Death Mountain, then be prepared for a long search.
