A butler with nothing to do... Wahhh!

Aug 26, 2009 11:11

[The spirit-butler of the now-clean wooden door stood underneath the shelter of his master's cabin, the place that had been his home for more years than he could count. The man was semi-transparent to the eye, he shouldn't have even been outside his door without duties to do... But it had been so long now since his master had returned.

He looked ( Read more... )

I've seen a lot of things and drowning is one of the only ones that entertain me, so yes, yes I do want to see somebody drown.

That's, a little horrifying... [She ponders for a moment, before giving the door a smile]

Have you ever heard an Ocarina?

[He looks down upon the girl in green in thought, she reminds him of his master for some off reason. As long as she doesn't touch his door or try to enter the cabana then he won't snap at her, even though he isn't in the best of moods.]

Indeed, I have seen many of them the course of my past! Small things, a lot like you but even more minute, they play quite the melodious tune.

[His voice was low and dragged along, as if he were already bored with such petty chatter... Oh wait, he was.]

Well, perhaps if I play for you, you can be entertained enough that you wont want to... Well, watch people drown. Would you like that?

[He thinks it over for a moment; it had been an awfully long time since he had heard an ocarina, actually, since he had heard any instrument in fact.]

Why not, entertain me.

[And with that he drifts past the girl and disapparates into his door for comfort.]

All right, you never know, you might cheer up a little. [With that the young girl withdraws her wooden ocarina and begins to play. Her song is cheerful, with a ghostly warmth that would remind one of fragrant tree's and green grass. It carries all the magic of the forest.]

[The only thing emitting from the door at first was a deadly silence, as if the door was just a door; yet then a large cry sounded and the door began to speak again.]

Wahhhh! That reminds me so much of the days that I used to wander Hyrule! Oh, oh, I need a handkerchief!

[The girl stops playing, lowering the ocarina and giving the door a warm smile. Luckily, she has a handkerchief, though she doesn't really see how a door can use it. Never the less, she dabs the wood under his eyes tenderly.]

There there, no need to be sad.

[Sniffing is heard coming from the door, but it begins to fade after the handkerchief is wipes under his 'eyes'.]

Oooh~, thank-you, I needed that. Your song was very moving! It reminds me of the days that I nearly lost myself. I once heard that song and found my way... You don't know of it by any chance, do you?

((ooc; Now I want to play Zelda Oot. ;-; ))

Are you talking about the lost woods?

(ooc; Well, nothing wrong with that! Play it!)

Well it defiantly sounds appropriate.

((ooc; You still have the copy of 'Master Collection' you were going to give me, sadly. I lost mine a long time ago.~ ;-; ))

[She nods happily, although there is a sadness behind her smile as she thinks of her home.]

You went there once? Lucky you found your way out, or you'd have died.

(ooc; Ara! I will have to give it to you in October, or else send you a package with your jump drive and Zelda in it! ♥)

Yes, I felt myself getting weaker as I went! If it wasn't for that song... Oh how I wish I could go back there again!

((ooc; I'm sure I can wait until October. ♥ :3 If I get really desperate then I'll just see if I can get my old N64 working again! ))

You could, if you wanted. The lost woods are dangerous, but the Kokiri are friendly, and would be kind to you I'm sure!
