With the great Ganondorf ruling in Castle Town and the exalted Nabooru residing in the Spirit Temple, she, the third-in-command of the Gerudo Thieves, had been in charge of the desert fortress for the past seven years.

For the past seven years, she had supervised the stronghold's patrols and the training of young girls and new recruits; she had led in the capture of trespassing Hylian men (as well as given one special case an honourary membership). She had carried out her duties, keeping in close communication with those of her sisters carrying out the king's orders across the rest of the land...

That is, until contact from outside of the desert came to a complete stop.

After weeks with no word from Castle Town, she had sent out several scouts out to obtain news. After they failed to return, she had sent more. Not one of her sisters came back to the fortress.

And soon, like grains of sand, rumours began to gather in the halls of the Great King's defeat.

Disbelieving the gossip, she had travelled out on horseback herself to seek the truth. It had taken her days to reach Castle Town, and what she had found there was a tower collapsed; a city rebuilding; a returning populace that unceasingly chattered of the wonderful Princess Zelda and the noble Hero of Time who had, together with the Six Sages, sealed away the Evil King. She had made with all haste back to the desert. Word had to be brought to her sisters.

She was greeted upon her return with nothing.

Extinguished torches--deserted halls-- there were no signs of a fight, and yet no thieves remained in the fortress.

Had the Hylians come in her absence and enslaved her sisters? Or had her fellow warriors fled into the desert for fear of such a consequence? Refusing to accept the latter possibility, she took up residence in the fortress, and it is here she remains, alone.

Day after day she patrols the worn stone hallways of the fortress. Night after night she keeps a careful watch, wary should soldiers come for her as well. She is careful, though, and eager to find lone travellers that may wander her way. Only with them can she recruit, rebuild, and resume the Gerudo way of life.

[OoC: Yes, this is a very, very obscure character, but I wanted to bring one from out of left field before jumping in with a more familiar one. Uhm... hello! Women, prepare to be recruited? Men, prepared to be captured and used as breeding fodder? 8Da

edit: Please feel free to ignore the first thread and the presence of the jolly ol King of Evil, and start fresh? XD I'm hoping for some humourous scenarios here too~]
